Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Create, manage and execute on day-to-day social media strategy and content calendar across all other social platforms under the guidance of an Account Director
  • Schedule all social media posts across platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Identify best practices and ideate on ways to bring the brand to life accordingly
  • Assist in creative brief development for new social assets
  • Manage production calendar for brand assets and new content needs
  • Oversee community management across all social platforms, responding to and fielding comments and FAQs; actively engage with followers
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across all channels and tactics
  • Analyze social media content performance and provide monthly reports, detailing month-over-month results, recommendations and next steps
  • Analyze market trends, digital trends and competitive landscape, providing monthly reports and recommendations
  • Meet weekly with Paid Media Manager and Marketing Strategist to ensure organic content is aligned to full media ecosystem
  • Assist with various account coordination tasks


  • 2-3+ years experience in agency setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business or other related field from an accredited four-year university/college
  • Social media advertising experience is a must
  • Excellent communication skills, including copywriting, grammar, proofreading and editing
  • Must be able to monitor and respond during nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of channel-specific features by platform
  • An appetite for staying on top of social news to help keep the team up-to-date and strategize with Account Director on ways to leverage trends
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate critical and analytical thinking
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and work independently
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments
  • Experience with Photoshop is a major plus
  • Experience using Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar media management platform is a major plus
  • PR experience is a major plus
